Our vision in FWC Kid’s Ministries

• Each child will know God deeply and He will be their best friend

• Each child will learn to live a Godly and transformed life, and reach their friends too 

• They will walk with Him in Elementary School, Junior High and High School and in their adult life making good choices, being an emotionally healthy and spiritual person with Jesus as their best friend

• The volunteers will support and love the kids in any way they can to help them towards these goals.

To the parent of young children, may we suggest…

• Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house. He loves your child and so do we.

• Sit toward the front where it is easier for your little ones to see and hear what’s going on. They tire of seeing the backs of other’s heads.

• Quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of the pastor, ushers, musicians, etc.

• Sing the songs, pray the prayers and be engaged. Children learn by copying you.

• If you have to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. If they need to walk around a bit, we have a TV in the lobby so you can still follow along with the service while they have room to move around.

• For safety reasons we encourage parents to keep their small children close to them so they don’t run into something or someone and get hurt.
